Medicine at the frontier of Human Regeneration
Two signature programme categories — ReGen Zone and Light-Based Blood Therapy — represent Dr. Ozone Clinic’s most advanced clinical offerings. These are not conventional treatments. They are the leading edge of regenerative medicine: therapies that work at the cellular, genetic, and photobiological level to restore, regenerate, and reawaken what time, disease, or oxidative stress has diminished.
Regenerative medicine is not about managing decline. It is about reversing it.
The body is not a static machine that wears out and stops. It is a dynamic biological system with an extraordinary capacity for self-renewal — when given the right signals, the right environment, and the right raw materials. Regenerative medicine works by providing exactly those inputs: biological compounds that communicate directly with cells, activating repair pathways, stimulating the production of growth factors, reducing the inflammatory burden that impedes healing, and restoring the physiological conditions in which the body’s own regenerative intelligence can operate.
Every therapy in the ReGen Zone works through a different mechanism — but all share the same fundamental goal: to shift the body from a state of degeneration toward active biological renewal. These are treatments for patients who want to address the underlying biology of ageing and disease, not just manage its surface consequences.

ReGen Zone — Cellular Regenerative Therapies
Programme 01
Five of the most biologically powerful regenerative therapies available in clinical practice — from the luxurious Gold in Bag ritual to the frontiers of exosome, stem cell, cord blood, and placenta therapy. Each works through the body’s own biological systems, not a pharmacological override.
Gold in Bag — Signature Ritual
24-karat gold regenerative therapy — the ultimate wellness experience
Gold in Bag is Dr. Ozone Clinic’s exclusive signature wellness ritual — a premium therapeutic experience that blends ancient gold-medicine traditions with contemporary regenerative science. Pure 24-karat colloidal gold has been documented in traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine for millennia, and modern biomedical research has validated its mechanisms: colloidal gold acts as a potent antioxidant at the cellular level, activating the Nrf2 antioxidant pathway (the same pathway triggered by ozone therapy and exercise), reducing inflammatory cytokines, and stimulating fibroblast activity to promote collagen and elastin production. In Gold in Bag, the body is enveloped in a bespoke gold-infused therapeutic treatment — applied through a combination of warm body wrap, therapeutic massage, and transdermal delivery — while the patient relaxes in a deeply restorative environment.
The gold penetrates the skin, delivering its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits to the dermis and underlying tissue, while the thermal and touch elements simultaneously calm the nervous system, improve circulation, and release deep muscle tension. This is not just a luxury treatment. It is a physiologically grounded regenerative ritual — the perfect bridge between clinical precision and profound personal restoration, especially following intensive medical therapies such as INUSpheresis® or EBOO.
Best for: Post-medical treatment recovery, Anti-ageing and skin rejuvenation, Deep nervous system restoration, Chronic inflammation, Luxury wellness, Reactive and sensitive skin
Exosome Therapy
The body’s own cellular postal service — amplified
Exosomes are nanoscale extracellular vesicles — membrane-enclosed biological packages, approximately 30–150 nanometers in diameter — released by virtually every cell in the body, most abundantly by stem cells and immune cells. Their function is cellular communication: each exosome carries a precisely curated cargo of proteins, growth factors, cytokines, RNA, and lipids that deliver specific biological instructions to recipient cells. When delivered therapeutically, exosomes act as a concentrated, targeted regenerative signal — directing cells to repair tissue, reduce inflammation, regenerate damaged structures, and restore optimal function.
Unlike stem cell therapy (which delivers live cells), exosome therapy delivers the instructional signals that stem cells produce — providing the regenerative communication without the complexity of live cell administration. This makes exosome therapy highly targeted, free of immune rejection risk (as no live foreign cells are introduced), and clinically versatile. At Dr. Ozone Clinic, exosomes are administered intravenously for systemic regeneration, or locally via injection for targeted tissue repair. Over 100 million exosomes per treatment session ensures therapeutic concentration.
Best for: Systemic anti-ageing, Autoimmune conditions, Chronic inflammation, Hair loss, Skin rejuvenation, Joint repair, Neurological support, Post-COVID recovery, Athletic performance
Stem Cell Therapy
The body’s master regenerators — systemically delivered
Stem cells are the body’s most fundamental repair units — undifferentiated cells with the unique biological capacity to self-renew and differentiate into virtually any specialised cell type: muscle cells, nerve cells, immune cells, cartilage, bone, or organ-specific tissue. Stem cell IV therapy administers mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) — most commonly sourced from umbilical cord Wharton’s jelly or adipose tissue — directly into the bloodstream, where they travel systemically to areas of inflammation, injury, or degeneration, guided by inflammatory homing signals.
Once at the target site, stem cells work through two primary mechanisms: direct differentiation into the specific cell types needed for tissue repair; and paracrine signalling — the secretion of growth factors, cytokines, and exosomes that activate the body’s own local repair cells and reduce inflammatory burden. This dual action makes stem cell therapy one of the most comprehensive regenerative approaches available — addressing both the structural and immunological dimensions of degeneration and disease simultaneously.
Best for: Autoimmune disease, Degenerative conditions, Chronic pain, Neurological conditions, Anti-ageing, Cardiovascular support, Joint degeneration, Post-injury recovery, Metabolic disease
Cord Blood Therapy
Life’s first healing reservoir — a uniquely potent regenerative source
Umbilical cord blood (UCB) is the blood that remains in the umbilical cord and placenta after birth — one of the richest natural sources of haematopoietic stem cells, mesenchymal progenitor cells, endothelial progenitor cells, Natural Killer cells, and a dense array of growth factors and cytokines designed by biology to sustain and initiate life. Its extraordinary biological potency reflects its function: cord blood carries the building blocks the newborn immune and vascular system requires to establish itself rapidly and robustly.
Therapeutically, cord blood cells are used in regenerative medicine for their homing capacity — the ability to migrate through the bloodstream to sites of injury or inflammation and initiate repair. They are particularly studied for neurological conditions (stroke, cerebral palsy), cardiovascular disease, and immune modulation. Cord blood MSCs produce a broad paracrine regenerative signal, releasing growth factors that stimulate local repair cells, reduce chronic inflammation, and support tissue regeneration. Over 80 diseases are currently treated or studied with cord blood therapy, with more than 9,500 active clinical trials underway globally as of 2025.
Best for: Neurological conditions, Cardiovascular disease, Immune modulation, Haematological conditions, Autoimmune disease, Chronic inflammation, Anti-ageing, Cerebral palsy (supportive)
Placenta Therapy
Ancient medicine validated by modern science — the organ of life, applied therapeutically
The human placenta is arguably the most biologically sophisticated organ the body produces — a temporary structure designed to sustain, nourish, and protect life at its most vulnerable developmental stages. It is extraordinarily dense in growth factors (EGF, FGF, HGF, IGF), cytokines, amino acids, nucleotides, and biologically active peptides. Placenta therapy harnesses this biological richness through Human Placental Extract (HPE) — a carefully prepared therapeutic formulation derived from human placentas that has been used clinically in Japan, Russia, and across Asia for over 70 years, with its first documented therapeutic use in the Soviet Union dating to the 1930s through Filatov’s “tissue therapy.”
HPE exerts its biological effects through multiple pathways simultaneously — promoting cell growth and proliferation (particularly of epithelial and hepatic cells), reducing inflammation, activating the Nrf2 antioxidant defence pathway (as documented in a 2022 peer-reviewed cellular senescence study, PMC9405396), normalising hormonal function, providing neuroprotection, and improving metabolic function. A 2025 Frontiers in Pharmacology review confirmed HPE’s use in anti-ageing, menopausal symptom management, liver function improvement, and chronic disease support — with an emerging evidence base for neurodegenerative conditions including Alzheimer’s disease. At Dr. Ozone Clinic, placenta therapy is delivered via intramuscular injection or IV infusion, depending on the clinical indication and the patient’s goals.

Light-Based Blood Therapy — Photobiological Medicine
Programme 02
Light is one of the most powerful biological modulators known to science. Different wavelengths of light — delivered directly into the bloodstream through a fine fibre-optic catheter, or applied to targeted tissues externally — interact with specific cellular components, activating the mitochondrial energy system, stimulating immune function, improving oxygenation, and reducing inflammation at the molecular level. These are not metaphorical light therapies. They are medical interventions operating at the photobiology of cellular metabolism.
Regenerative Laser Therapy — Weber Laser IV
Intravenous laser blood irradiation — light delivered directly into the bloodstream
Intravenous Laser Blood Irradiation (ILBI), commercially delivered through the Weberneedle® Endo Laser system by Weber Medical, represents a fundamental advance beyond topical laser therapy. The core limitation of conventional laser treatment is penetration: most wavelengths are absorbed in the superficial layers of skin and fail to reach the bloodstream, immune cells, or internal organs at therapeutic levels. ILBI solves this entirely by placing the light source inside the vascular system itself — delivering a fibre-optic Weberneedle® Lasercath directly into a peripheral vein, where it irradiates circulating blood with precise therapeutic wavelengths as it flows past the laser tip.
The result is systemic photobiomodulation at the cellular level. Specific wavelengths interact with specific cellular components: red and near-infrared light activate cytochrome C oxidase in the mitochondrial electron transport chain, dramatically increasing ATP production and cellular energy; green light binds to haemoglobin, improving oxygen release by up to 20% and increasing ATP production by approximately 30%; yellow light improves serotonin and vitamin D metabolism; blue light reduces inflammation and delivers antipathogenic effects. The Weber Laser has been established in over 300 clinical centres across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and Australia since its certification in 2005.
Best for: Chronic fatigue and Long COVID, Immune dysfunction, Chronic infections, Cardiovascular disease, Autoimmune conditions, Depression / low mood, Pain management, Anti-ageing and longevity, Post-surgical recovery
Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation — UVBI
The original blood light therapy — a century of clinical evidence
Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation (UVBI) is one of the oldest light-based medical therapies, with documented clinical use dating to the 1920s and extensive application through the 1940s and 1950s for conditions including septicaemia, pneumonia, poliomyelitis, and antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections. UVBI involves drawing a measured volume of the patient’s blood (typically 300–500ml), passing it through a quartz glass chamber where it is exposed to controlled doses of ultraviolet light (UVA, UVB, and UVC wavelengths), and returning the treated blood intravenously.
The therapeutic mechanisms are multiple and well-characterised: ultraviolet light directly inactivates bacteria, viruses, and fungi circulating in the blood sample by disrupting their DNA — while the body’s own repair enzymes rapidly correct any inadvertent UV-induced damage to healthy cells. The debris from inactivated pathogens acts as a powerful immune stimulus — creating a vaccine-like effect that directs the immune system to mount a targeted response against the specific pathogens identified. Simultaneously, UV irradiation triggers cytokine release, activates T-cells and macrophages, improves microcirculation, reduces platelet aggregation, stimulates red blood cell production in anaemia, and activates cortisone precursors into vitamin D. Nearly 30 documented changes in blood parameters have been recorded across published UVBI studies.
Best for: Antibiotic-resistant infections, Chronic viral infections, Hepatitis, Lyme disease, Autoimmune conditions, Immune deficiency, Circulatory disorders, Wound healing, Cancer supportive care
Hemealumen Light Therapy
Polychromatic blood irradiation — multiple wavelengths, simultaneous biological effects
Hemealumen represents the technological evolution of ultraviolet blood irradiation — a polychromatic medical device that simultaneously delivers multiple therapeutic light wavelengths across the full visible spectrum and into the ultraviolet range, addressing several biological systems at once. While UVBI uses UV light primarily for its antimicrobial and immune-activating properties, Hemealumen adds visible-spectrum photobiomodulation — the clinically validated process by which specific wavelengths of light are absorbed by cellular chromophores (particularly mitochondrial cytochromes) to produce measurable physiological responses.
The Hemealumen system draws a small volume of blood through an IV line and passes it through a quartz cuvette (glass chamber), exposing it simultaneously to UVA, UVC, and multiple visible wavelengths — red, amber, green, blue, and infrared — at high therapeutic power. Each wavelength interacts with different cellular components: red supports mitochondrial enzymes (SOD and catalase) and increases energy production; amber improves nitric oxide production and vasodilation; green preserves white blood cell membrane integrity and decreases blood viscosity; blue promotes vasodilation and delivers antipathogenic effects; infrared (810nm) boosts mitochondrial energy and improves oxygen utilisation by red blood cells. Many clinics combine Hemealumen with ozone to create the EBO2-equivalent effect of combined ozone and photobiomodulation blood therapy.
Best for: Energy and mitochondrial function, Immune modulation, Chronic infections, Inflammatory conditions, Circulation, Blood oxygenation, Anti-ageing, Long COVID, Combined detox protocols
Giga Laser Therapy
High-power external photobiomodulation — precision light energy to deep tissue
Giga Laser therapy uses a high-power Class 4 therapeutic laser to deliver precisely targeted photobiological energy to deep tissue — transcutaneously (through the skin), penetrating 10–12cm into the body to reach organs, joints, reproductive structures, and the vascular system. Unlike the low-power handheld lasers used in physiotherapy clinics, the Giga Laser delivers therapeutic intensity at a level that produces measurable physiological changes in deep tissue, with the power and precision to reach targets that conventional laser devices cannot.
At the cellular level, Giga Laser activates cytochrome C oxidase in the mitochondrial electron transport chain — the same mechanism as intravenous laser therapy, but delivered externally to specific anatomical targets. This ATP upregulation drives tissue repair, reduces inflammation, improves microcirculation, and activates cellular regeneration in the irradiated zone. Dr. Ozone Clinic uses the Giga Laser across three primary clinical applications — fertility and reproductive health (applied over the ovaries and uterus to improve oocyte quality and endometrial health); acute and chronic pain management; and acne treatment through its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory photobiological action. In fertility applications, photobiomodulation works by improving cellular energy (ATP) in reproductive cells that have declined in metabolic efficiency — reversing functional ovarian ageing, improving blastocyst rates, and supporting endometrial receptivity in patients who have experienced repeated IVF failure.
Best for: Female fertility enhancement, IVF support and success rates, PCOS — hormonal and metabolic, Low AMH / poor ovarian reserve, Chronic pain and arthritis, Musculoskeletal injuries, Acne treatment, Post-surgical tissue healing, Inflammation-driven conditions
